Narla Goan coconut blossom vinegar is handcrafted from the finest raw sap from the coconut blossoms of Goan coconut trees. It contains ‘Mother of Vinegar’, (which is a naturally good bacteria). This unique product is made in small, hand-crafted batches.
Our coconut vinegar is naturally fermented for six months and has no added sugar, salt, yeast, preservatives or fermentation agents. Although coconut vinegar is mildly acidic (5%), when it is metabolized by the body, it becomes alkaline-producing. The naturally occurring organic acids found in coconut sap vinegar, provide the body with important minerals such as potassium, calcium, sodium and magnesium.
Coconut vinegar is an integral part of Goan-Portuguese cooking and is used in exotic Goan masalas like xacuti and raechado and certain iconic dishes of Goa like vindaloo, chorizo and sorpotel.
